Cottonwoods in Nevada, oil on canvas 24" x 30"This Nevada landscape captures the cottonwood trees which turn to brilliant yellow at the first onset of cold. The mountain desert is spotted with color in the Fall at the eastern base of the Sierra Nevada Range in the Carson Valley. We'll be up there for the holidays and I hope to find more inspirational views. This trip will likely produce snowscapes!
